Julian DeMar Holliday (Pooh Bear) was born March 31, 1980, and called home to his heavenly father on April 22, 2025. He passed away in Indianapolis, Indiana surrounded by family. He attended grade school at Zion Lutheran School and graduated from Northrop High School in 1998. He found his faith in Christ at Zion Lutheran Church, where he was baptized and confessed his faith. He continued to worship at home and in the rehabilitation centers during his illness.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving, caring mother, DeLoice Holliday (Momme) of Bloomington, IN and his brother, Joeseff Holliday (wife: Brie) of New Whiteland, IN.
Survivors include two sons Andre and J’Shaun Holliday, the mother of his children, Angel Stephens, three grandchildren: Summer, Andre Jr, and Ava and his father, J L Ellis, stepsister, Shira Menson and stepbrother, Johnell Hogue.
He was preceded in life by his maternal grandparents, Robbie and Herbert Holliday.
Julian had a love of music and contemporary dance. His favorite snack was cool ranch Doritos and his least favorite food was peanut butter. He painted the most amazing, beautiful paintings. He loved arts and crafts, plants, nature, interior design, and fashion. His love of water, oceans, lakes, and rivers were his calmness. He was always quoting the Bible and giving his testimony of faith. While going through rehab, he never gave up on God. It was truly a test of faith, strength, and hard work. He fought until the end.
He leaves his loving legacy to his family, friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, and all the loved ones whose life was touched by him.
