Kenneth E. Austin Jr., 77 of Fort Wayne passed away Saturday, February 28 2015. He was the son of Kenneth and Marceille (Brown) Austin, born in South Milford, IN. He served in the US Army for two years as a mechanic. He then worked in the asphalt business at Bunn/Hipskin/Stoneco for 30 years. In 1962, he married Verna (Coultas) Morse, they shared 44 years together. Surviving are daughter, Carolyn (Gregg) Munro and son, Doug (Velma) Morse, grandchildren; Mikey Morse, Carolyn Morse, Linda (Travis) Rodman, Tonia (Ned) Cox, Tiffany Morse, Lea (Matt) Johnson, and Bobi Jo (Tim) Munden, and 13 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Verna, and two sons, Daniel and Michael. A memorial service will be 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, with a gathering of friends and family one hour prior. Inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park to follow. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
