Kenneth Michael “Mike” Hutcherson, a loving father, son, and brother, passed away on November 19, 2024 at the age of 62. Mike was born on September 30, 1962 in Rockford, IL to Carlene Griffin. Mike was recently self-employed as an HVAC technician and previously worked for over 30 years as a technician, sales manager, and general manager for Rolf Griffin Heating and Air, which later became Service Experts.
When he wasn’t fixing something or spending time with family, Mike spent time on hobbies such as gardening, cooking, woodworking, and hunting.
He is survived by his mother, Carlene Griffin; daughters, Carrie Gibson and Mariah (Eric) Knight; sisters, Tammy (Mike) Pendarvis and Mary Davies; grandchildren, Jaslin Holliday, Letterieus Gibson, Zion Gibson; and two great-grandchildren, Amiri and Amilyan Benson. Mike was preceded in death by his sisters, Sherry Mitchell, Susie Kuhn, and Shelly Middaugh.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024, at D.O McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
A time of Gathering and Fellowship will follow from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday December 2, 2024 at the McComb Hospitality Room, located directly behind the Lake Avenue Funeral Home in the "Arrangement Center".
