Kenneth Lee Richardson, 86, of Fort Wayne would like to announce his change of address, effective July 7, 2021. To reach him, please remember him while reading a book, watering plants, playing cards, or solving a crossword puzzle.
Ken was born in Peru, Ind., on July 1, 1935 to Dave and Thelma Richardson. He graduated from Ball State University and earned his master’s degree from Saint Francis College. He taught Reading, Journalism, and English at Garrett, Calumet, and Snider for 40 years. Kenny was known for his love of family and friends, positive attitude, and sense of humor.
Ken is survived by his wife of 63 years, Judith (Reed) Richardson; and brother, John. He was a loving father to Barb (Chet) Karpowicz, Amy (Scott) Brown, and Mary (Tim) Vendrely. He was the ultimate grandpa to Amy, Lisa (Dave), Stephanie, Kyle (Emily), Reed, Evan and Kendyll; and great-grandpa to Maddy, Ellie, Kate, Joanna and Zach. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Maxine Wright, Eldon Richardson, and Jim Richardson.
A life celebration will be between the hours of 1-4pm on Monday, July 12, 2021 at Triangle Park, 3010 Trier Road, Fort Wayne, Ind.
