Kenneth attended R. Nelson Snider High School and completed his high school education by obtaining his GED. He attended Anthis Career Center where he received his certification in Tool & Die.
He was part owner of the family business, Quality Tool & Die Company where he was a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker.
In his younger years he was a runner and studied Martial Art and achieved his Black Belt in Karate. He was also a member of The Escorts Motorcycle Club.
Kenneth was a spiritual person who had a special love for music. He spent countless hours playing his guitar and banjo at various long-term care facilities, Townhouse Community and Kingston Memory Care.
When he wasn’t playing his guitar or banjo, he enjoyed riding his bicycle along the bike trails. He said, “It was a time of meditation.” He also participated in many long distance cycling trips.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence E. and Rita Stump; brothers, Donald and John Stump and former spouse, Melinda Stump.
Surviving are his sons, Jason and Jesse Stump; brothers, Andrew Stump and Jim (Jeanne) Stump; sister, Mary (Dennis) Andrews; sisters-in-law, Cheryle Stump and Denise Stump and his beloved Siamese cat, Sassycat.
A visitation for Kenneth will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
