Kenneth D. Wyman, age 95, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away peacefully on Thursday February 6, 2025 in Overland Park, Kansas surrounded by family. He was born February 21,1929 in Brookings, South Dakota to Roy and Leta Wyman.
While living in Fort Wayne, he was employed as a mechanical engineer at General Electric Company his entire career before retiring in 1988. Ken and his wife Marjorie then set out for fun in the sun and golfing where they resided in Fort Myers, Florida for six months out of the year where they met many new life long friends.
One of our fondest memories of Ken was his sense of humor and his love for his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ken was a loving husband to his wife Marjorie for 68 years until she passed away in 2020.
Ken was a great father to his three children; Steve Wyman of Osprey, Florida, Gordy Wyman of Plano, Texas and Cindy Schuhler (Dave) of Overland Park, Kansas; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Donald and Robert, his wife Marjorie, his daughter-in-law, Kay Wyman and his granddaughter, Angie (Schuhler) Beran.
He is also survived by his sister Betty Knudsen. Ken’s family and friends will miss him dearly.
Services for Ken will be Monday, March 3, 2025 at 11:00 am for a celebration of life with a 10:00 am viewing before the service at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804 with burial at Covington Memorial Gardens.
