Kevin Robert Henschen, 61, of Fort Wayne, passed away on February 23, 2022, at his home. Born on July 3rd, 1960, Kevin graduated from Southside High School. He was employed by Scott’s/Kroger grocery store for over 40 years and was employed by the Journal Gazette for 25 years. Kevin enjoyed going out to eat with his children, especially at Red Robin and Pizza King. He liked to attend Indianapolis Colts games with Madeline and visiting Izabella and Preston at college. Kevin enjoyed racing others in his purple Dodge Challenger and was always bragging about how his car was faster and louder. His sense of humor was one of his best qualities and will be greatly missed.
Kevin is survived by his five children: Madeline (Nick) Wagner, Izabella Henschen, Preston Henschen of Fort Wayne; Thomas (Sarah) Henschen, Jenna Henschen of Antwerp, Ohio; five grandchildren: Elliot, Riley, Ayden, and a blessing of twin boys due in July; mother: Linda Henschen; siblings: Laura Black, Mark Henschen, Brian (Roni) Henschen; many nieces and nephews; and two kitties: Kitty and Cuppy.
A private Celebration of Kevin’s life was held, per his request. Arrangements have been entrusted to D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325Covington Road, Fort Wayne.
