LaMar P. Livensparger, 86, of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Coldwater, Mich., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023, at 11:50 a.m. at Stillwater Hospice of Fort Wayne. Born Sep. 12, 1936, to the late Harold and Dorthy (née Gratz) Livensparger. He served his country honorably for four years in the United States Marine Corps, provided 33 years of service to the Falstaff Brewing Corporation, and retired from Fort Wayne Community Schools after 12 years of dedicated service as a custodian.
Survivors include his son, Jeff Livensparger of Fort Wayne; daughter, Melissa (Charles) Gottschalk of Whitehouse, Ohio; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Caroline and Nelson Deuitch of Toronto, Ont.; grandsons, Chip and Chase (Courtney) Gottschalk and Camron Livensparger; granddaughters, Molly Gottschalk, Chloe and Carly Livensparger; companion, Betty Gleason; three nephews; one niece; and multiple grand-nephews and grand-nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Susan Livensparger; and parents, Harold and Dorthy Livensparger.
To honor LaMar's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial services.
