

Larry Michael Burch was born October 7, 1949, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Johnnie B. and Robert T. Burch. He departed this life at the age of 76, on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
Larry, known as “Weasel,” was raised on East Douglas Street where all neighbors were friends.
He attended Harmar Elementary School and Central Jr. High School and graduated from Central High School in 1968. Throughout high school he was a member of the track team.
Larry was selected to be a Central High School and U.S. Post Office work-study program participant. He worked for two years in the evening from 4-8 pm allowing him to purchase a 1957 Chevy!
Upon graduation, Larry attended Vincennes University for one year.
He returned home and began employment with Hudsons and Marshall Fields as a honored salesperson. He was also employed at International Harvester, Magnavox Company, Meijer and Belmont Liquors where he retired.
Larry’s favorite pass time included sports and music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert T. and Johnnie B. Burch, a loving and devoted aunt, Lillie B. Jenkins and a sister, Jacqueline Burch-Rhodes.
Larry leaves to cherish his memory a brother, Jerry Burch; a sister, Sharon (Bill) Banks of Georgia; nephews, Shawn (Sakia) Burch, Keith Burch, Kevin Matthews; nieces, Nicole Burch, Megan (J.B.) Langas and Larrisa Williams along with numerous other nieces and nephews throughout the country.
