Larry Wayne Meyer

Larry Wayne Meyer, age 86, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025. Larry was born, September 19, 1938 in Berne, Indiana to Paul and Laura Meyer. He graduated from Adams Central High School in 1956 and attended DeVry Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL. He worked as a Manufacturing Engineer for CTS of Berne for 43 years before retiring in 2002.

Larry was united in marriage to Sharon Hattery on March 5, 1960. They were together for 65 years until his death. They went on to have three children. Larry and Sharon enjoyed traveling, fishing and spending quality time with friends and family. Larry enjoyed outdoors and nature, he was the Director of the Berne Conservation Club for many years. In his later years Larry enjoyed reliving the old times by watching old westerns.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Hattery Meyer, Terri (Meyer) Palmeter of Fort Wayne, IN, Rick (Wendy) Meyer of Columbia City, IN, Lisa (Tom) Gianelle of Colleyville, TX. Granddaughter, Leslie (Johnathan) Meyer-Yen, of Berlin, Germany; Grandson, Paul Meyer of Baytown, TX. Sisters, Joan Sulek of Indianapolis, IN., Phyllis Conrad of Palmetto, FL. and Susan Grove of Bluffton, IN.

Preceded in death by his parents and Son in Law, Robert J. Palmeter.

Services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley Park, 1320 East Dupont Rd., Fort Wayne, IN with calling 2 hours prior.
