LEE W. BROWN, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully at Parkview Regional on Thursday, April 24, 2014. He was born in Muncie, Ind. on Nov. 13, 1927 a son of the late Harold and Lottie Brown. He was a member of the Friends Memorial Church in Muncie, the Indiana Society of Engineers, a registered structural engineer for the state of Indiana and was employed by Everett I. Brown Company of Indianapolis and Fanning and Howe of Celina, Ohio, Purdue Civil Engineer degree 1963. He was also an author, professional photographer, and artist. Surviving are his brother, Dr. Garland Brown; nephew, Timothy Lee Sprong of Elwood, Ind.; niece, Cheryl Elizabeth Brown of Indianapolis, Ind.; cousins, Lova Graves Temple and Jane Marilyn McKinley of Salem, Ind. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ursel Bartley; and brother, Clinton Ivor Brown. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Lutheran Life Villages Chapel, 6723 S.
