Leonard (Len) David Krauss, 60, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on February 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on March 13, 1964, in Lakewood, Ohio, to George and Kathryn Krauss.
Leonard was known for his passion for building and flying model airplanes, his love of cooking, and his talent as a handyman. He brought creativity, warmth, and joy into the lives of those who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Lisa (Gerard) Krauss; his two sons, Michael and Matthew; his parents, George and Kathryn; his brothers, Bill (Holli) and John (Jennie); his sister, Janet (Robert) Trapp; and his many beloved nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held on March 1, 2025, at Avalon Missionary Church, located at 1212 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46819. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Epilepsy Foundation, Indiana Donor Network, or Avalon Missionary Church.
One of Leonard’s favorite songs was Friend of God by Phillips, Craig, and Dean. Its lyrics, “I am a friend of God. He calls me friend,” reflect the faith and friendships that defined his life.
