

LeVar Darnell "Bah-Bah" Walker was born August 26, 1977 to Houston A. and Joyce Diane (Sanders) Walker in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church, under the leadership of his uncle the late Dr. Samuel Walker, Jr. He grew up in church and was a member of the Children's Choir, Youth Choir and Drill Team. "Bah-Bah" as he was affectionately called by family and friends attended R. Nelson Snider High School and graduated in 1996. He was very artistic and could look at any person or thing and produce fine drawings. He was always a dare devil. he wasn't afraid of anything, including death. He had a love for his family and people were always drawn to his comedic personality. In 2008, LaVar met Chineca Lacey, they were united in holy matrimony on May 9, 2015. Chineca was faithful to her vows and stood by his side; during his sickness and was right by his side when he departed this life on Monday, January 23, 2017. LaVar leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife, Chineca Walker; his precious daughters, Deja Harris of Indianapolis, Leyanna Walker and Jakerra Lacey both of Fort Wayne; father, Houston Walker of Fort Wayne; brothers, Anthony Sanders and DeMarcus Walker both of Fort Wayne and Derek Walker of Houston, TX; sisters, Terri Sanders of Fort Wayne and LaShonda Sanders of Houston, TX; best friend, Jamonn Lipscomb; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce "Di" Walker; paternal grandparents, Samuel and Rosie Walker, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Major and Lizzie Sanders.
