Linda (Henry) Moreno

Linda (Henry) Moreno, 71, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital. Born August 27, 1947 in Tipton, Okla., she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Maria (Medrano) Henry and attended Elmhurst Church of the Nazarene. She was employed with Tokheim, Fort Wayne, and also drove truck with her husband for seven years. A beautiful soul, she cared for everyone and was very generous to others. She enjoyed Bingo, camping, fishing, cookouts, quilting & crocheting blankets, gardening, cooking, and traveling with her family. She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Surviving are her daughters, Elisa Moreno, Inez (Antonio Bera) Moreno, both of Fort Wayne, and Estella (Salvador Diaz) Moreno of Defiance; son, Miguel Moreno III of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Jerry (Diana) Henry, Danny (Angela) Henry, David Henry, and Jesse Henry; and four sisters, Adell (Frank) Young, Connie (Carl) Irby, Rachel Henry, and Lillie (Denny) Sanders. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Miguel Moreno Jr.; and two sisters, Faye Rogers and Pauline Poe. Prayer Service is 10:15 am on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 S. Calhoun St., Fort Wayne. Funeral Service is 11:00am on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Elmhurst Church of the Nazarene, 2951 Sandpoint Rd., Fort Wayne.
