Lonney Ross Kimmel, 73, passed away peacefully, November 17, 2022 at his home in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born May 6, 1949 in Hulbert, Michigan, the son of the late Charles and Lois Kimmel. Lonney proudly served his country and was a U.S Marine Corp veteran serving in Vietnam. He worked at Fort Wayne Truck Parts for 30 years, MTI Mobil Tool International and most recently as a Receiving Clerk at Meijers for 5 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Bernadette Kimmel of Fort Wayne; children, Amanda (Peterson) of Chandler, Arizona; Lonney Ross Kimmel Jr. of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Mary Dawn (Adam) Murphy of Fort Wayne; Stacy (Moe) Ellis of Fort Wayne; step-son Richard (Julia) Spencer of Terre Haute, Indiana; step-daughter, Courtney (Blake) Walker of Fort Wayne; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lonney was preceded in death by his siblings, Irving Kimmel, Lynn Kimmel, Sharon Koester, Joel Kimmel, and Amerida Crow.
A Celebration of Life is noon to 5pm on Saturday, December 17 at the Southwest Conservation Club, 5703 Bluffton Rd, Fort Wayne.
