Loraine Bickford, 77, of Fort Wayne, Indiana and native of Marion, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at home with family by her side. She was a daughter of the late Stanley and Margaret Stephenson.
She was a retired teacher of FWCS, retiring in 2011 after 38 years of service. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church where she loved singing in the choir. Loraine loved gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving is her daughter, Erin (Mark) Doyle; a sister, Jeannette (Raymond) Murphy; a brother, Stan Stephenson.
Loraine was also preceded in death by her husband, David W. Bickford; sister, June Smith; and brother, Richard Stephenson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 7211 Stellhorn Road (46815), with visitation one hour prior to the service.
