Loretta Burnette Navarro

Loretta Burnette Navarro, age 79, of New Haven, Indiana passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024. Loretta was born in St. George, Bermuda to the late Mildred Packwood. At the age of 16 she came to Ligonier, Indiana.

Loretta married Robert Navarro in Fort Wayne, Indiana on June 14, 2014. She retired from Essex Wire after 35 years of service. She was loved by many and was known by her great-grandchildren as "GG". Loretta was full of life and laughter; she also enjoyed swirl ice-cream cones from Dairy Queen and long car rides with her loving husband whom she adored. She and Robert enjoyed attending services at The Chapel with family.

She was also preceded in death by her sons, Philip J. Stump Jr. and David E. Stump; and three sisters.

Loretta leaves to cherish her memory and continue her legacy to her devoted husband, Robert; daughters, Sue (Ron) Wilson and Elizabeth (Trey) Thompson; sons, Michael (Tracy) Navarro and Arturo Navarro Sr; sister, Pat Wade-Smith; 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

"She loved all her children and grandchildren" and will be greatly missed by all.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 4:00 PM on Monday, January 22, 2024 at D.O. Mccomb and Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park 1140 Lake Avenue (46805); with Pastor Mark Goff officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
