I am sorry for your loss of my friend Louie. It warmed my heart to see the picture of Louie and I in the old antique car. We were on a trip with the Science club at Alexandria  H.S.. This was our Senior year and we shared many good times together. 
A little over two years ago I made contact with Louie and we met in Plymouth Indiana which was half way between Fort Wayne and Valparaiso,  We had lunch at a Wendy's and talked about all of our good times as friends during our High School days. I will miss my good friend, "the count" (That's another story) 
I would enjoy if anyone would contact me. It would be nice to share my memories with Louie's family.

I was Dr. Ross' secretary at Saint Francis College from 1968-1972.  I believe he had just been appointed Dean of the Graduate School and was the youngest dean of a graduate school in the country.  I always tell everyone he was the best boss ever.   No one I worked for and with after him came close.  He is a gem.  I wish I would have made contact with him throughout the years, but life happens, and we both led busy lives with family and careers.  Dr. Ross, he always said to call him "Lou", but I could never bring myself to address him by him first name.   I want to express my heartfelt condolences. I am so sorry for the loss of your Father.  Louie was a great friend to my uncle, Larry Peck.  I always found your father funny, warm and gracious to our family.  Prayers for your family.

We were terribly saddened to hear of Lou's passing.  He was one of the brightest and kindest gentleman,  the world has ever known.  We always enjoyed our conversations about numerous topics with him.  He was a great storyteller too!  We greatly admired his devotion to his family, friends and neighbors.   Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family, friends and neighbors.   As long as you remember someone,  they are never completely gone.  We hope that warm and fond memories will comfort you in the days, weeks and months ahead.

Lou Ross was a very intelligent, articulate man who shared his knowledge with everyone of every age. He was a neighborhood staple of Indian Village and to all of those around him, especially his family and friends. His passing is a terrible loss to his family and friends all around. My condolences and sincere feeling of loss to his children, grandchildren, and all of his longtime friends and neighbors.

I am sure over the years Louis Ross has influenced so many people in a positive way through his teachings! How blessed you are to have had such a kind, positive teacher in your life! Dear Andrew, Hope and Families, 

We were deeply saddened by the news about the death of Nord, and are so very sorry for your loss. This must be a very difficult time for all of you, and please remember that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Nord was such a kind soul, and he will be greatly missed.  He was incredibly generous with his time and support to our entire  family.  He knew how to have fun, and shared his joy with others.  We were so fortunate to have Nord, MaryLou and you kids, as our favorite neighbors.

We know how much you will miss your father, and hope you have a lifetime of wonderful memories from which to draw strength and comfort.

Louie was a dear friend of our Uncle, Larry Peck.  We only met him a few times but found him very kind, very interesting and very funny.  May he Rest In Peace and our condolences to his family.

I didn't get to know your dad until Mary got sick. I so enjoyed talking to him. He had so many stories to tell. I liked hearing about his trips to Italy.  He  was crazy about his grandkids. He told me he wanted to live to see Jen reach 5 ft. From the pictures I see of her I am sure she made it. My prayers  are with your family. Lou Ross was the smartest,kindest and funniest person I ever knew. He was a wonderful friend to me and my whole family for 47 years. He was our neighbor across the street. He was full of fun and we all thoroughly enjoyed "Nord"and all in the Ross family. I miss him so much and life won't be the same without him. He was very loyal, generous and had a superb sense of humor. May he rest in peace. My heart goes out to Andrew, Hope and all of his loved ones. 

Lou and Mary Lou were wonderful supportive friends.  Their daughter Hope and my son Roy brought us together.  I shall always recall the Ross family as fun, kind, gracious, giving, and loving life and each other.  Hurts terribly that Mary and Lou are gone, although they'll always stay in so many hearts.   Loved them and felt loved in return.
