Margaret D. Coleman, 85 of New Haven, IN passed away November 28, 2018. She was born June 3, 1933 in Passaic, NJ to the late Max and G. Dora (Walther) Bahr. She was graduate of Fort Wayne Northside High School. Margaret was a Secretary for the Fort Wayne Community Schools 21 years, retiring in 1987. She was a former member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, a lifelong member of the Fort Wayne Maennerchor and a member of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Chorus. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Gary) Coleman-Dickman, sons, Richard S. & David M. Coleman, 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren with one on the way and 1 great-great grandchild. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Coleman and brother, Robert M. Bahr. Services will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018, 11 AM at the Woodburn United Methodist Church 4300 Becker Road Woodburn, IN with visitation there from 10 -11 AM. Additional visitation will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 2-5 & 6-8 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road Fort Wayne, IN. She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial gifts may be directed to the Fort Wayne Honor Flight Program or the donor’s favorite charity.
