Marietta A. Enderle Porsch

MARIETTA ANN PORSCH, 93, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, at Ashton Creek Nursing Home, Fort Wayne. Born Nov. 11, 1920, in Chaffee, Mo., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Louise (Schlosser) Enderle. She was a lifelong Fort Wayne resident and graduate of Central High School. On Feb. 22, 1941, she married Dale S. Porsch in Fort Wayne. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was an active member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Fort Wayne where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed playing cards, fishing, gardening, and being with her family. She is survived by a daughter, Sylvia Porsch; two sons, Gregory (Deanna) Porsch of Fremont, Ind. and Mark (Lora Patton) Porsch of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren, Chris (Leigh Ann) Porsch, Allison Porsch, and Dale Porsch; and three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, a sister and two brothers. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., Fort Wayne, with a Vigil service at 3:30 p.m. Burial in the Catholic Cemetery.
