Bob and Marilyn were good friends of ours, often joining our group when we all went dancing, or camping somewhere. They were a class act and two of the nicest people we were privileged to know

Bryan, so sorry to see that your mother has passed away. I remember her and your dad when I was growing up in the neighborhood and in the farming community. Your mom was also a 4-H club leader with my mother, Barbara Coverdale, for a few years. In the past years I was able to visit with your mom over a ditching problem. I enjoyed our conversations during that time and talking about the old neighborhood. God be with you and her granddaughters during this difficult time and the months ahead.

Marlyn has become an inspiration and cherished friend to me over the past several years. Her love for her family, church, neighbors, farming, nature, sewing, music and tennis are all things I think of when I think of Marilyn. She faced the many struggles of life with an unwavering Faith and determination. I have learned so much about strength and integrity through Marilyn.
My favorite memories are spending time singing songs with Marilyn as she played piano so beautifully. There were many late nights we would be texting as we watched our favorite tennis players from our own homes. I have missed these times this past year but will always hold them dear to my heart.
I thank God for blessing me through Marilyn. She was a remarkable woman of faith, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Love, Lisa Best
