Marilyn J. Rhoads, age 98, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026, surrounded by her family. Marilyn was the third child born to Lawrence and Millie Ott of Columbia City, Indiana on March 17, 1928.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Rhoads, and sister, Carol Putnam (Jerald.)
She is survived by her sisters, Geneva Nevius and Martha (Wood) Dixon; three daughters, Georgia (Jack Mikesell) Rhoads, Char (Larry) Schenk, and Sandy (Bill Gooding) Rhoads; grandchildren, Tyler Schenk, Brittany Carey and Rachel (José Berrios) Schenk; and great grandchildren, Tyler Jr., Judson, Jake and Diego.
There will be no funeral service, but a private family graveside service at a later date.
