Marsha Lynn Stapleton, 67, of Fort Wayne went to be with Jesus Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Marsha was born January 29, 1957 in Wabash to the late Robert and Mary (Sulmon) Barrus. She married Gary Stapleton on February 24, 1990. Marsha was a quiet, shy lady who enjoyed listening to Cristian and Country Music and watching old English movies on PBS. She loved all kinds of animals, but dogs and cats held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Pigeon Forge in Tennessee. She loved the Lord and attended Waynedale Baptist Church and when she couldn’t attend, enjoyed listening on Gary’s phone. She is survived by her husband, Gary. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Barrus and a sister, Sharon Fouts. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6600 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. Pastor Steve Johnson will officiate.
