Martha Jessie Brumbeloe

Jessie grew up in Alabama where she met her late husband, Therman. They eventually settled in Fort Wayne, IN where they raised their four children. Jessie worked at Lutheran Hospital as a Pediatric Nurse for 30 years where she touched many lives, including the ones of all of her student nurses. After retiring she became a water aerobics instructor at the YMCA up until 2020, where she was awarded the McMillen Health Wellness award. She loved playing games at gatherings with friends and family where she especially enjoyed her conversations with her siblings. Jessie loved traveling all over the world with her husband prior to his passing and they enjoyed over 30 plus trips together.

She is survived by her children, Joe (Nicky Siples) Brumbeloe, Tim (Ryen) Brumbeloe, Sylvia (Doug Shore) Voelker, Nancy (Wilfried) Haensch; siblings, Willodean, Imogene, Lucretia; grandchildren, Inge, Anna, Keileigh, Johannes & Tessa; great-grandchildren, Lena, Oliver, Sophia and Jacob.

Jessie is preceded in death by her husband, Therman Jordan Brumbeloe; siblings, Cread, Christeen, Mildred and Dewayne.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 27, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM, at Coventry Meadows Assisted Living, 7833 W Jefferson Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.

Memorial contributions may be given to the YMCA in memory of Jessie.
