MARVIN H. HITZEMANN, 81, passed away in the early morning on Monday, Oct. 19, 2015. He lived his entire life in Allen County, Ind., and farmed his entire life. He was a member of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church where he served as President for two years, School Board member of Concordia Lutheran High School for six years and 24 years with the Allen County Co-Op Board of Directors. He also was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Okinawa, Japan. He was an avid IU fan. Surviving are his wife, Jan; son, Kerry (Mary) Hitzemann; daughter, Vicki (fiance Michael) Hitzemann of Indianapolis; and two grandchildren, Bayley and Dakota Hitzemann. Service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 6318 W. California Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at the church. Preferred memorials to Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Allen County 4-H Fair.
