Mary Applegate

MARY M. APPLEGATE, 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013. She was born the daughter of the late Robert and Sarah Syndram on Feb 21, 1924 in Fort Wayne. "She will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her generous spirit, her outpouring of love and kindness to everyone. She will be forever loved and missed." Surviving is her son, Carl (Carolene) Applegate; grandson, Carl W. Applegate III, and John N. Applegate; step-granddaughter, Lisa D. (Bill) Beber; great-granddaughter, Shelby A. Applegate; and three step-great-grandchildren, Mathew, Holly and Andrew Beber. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Applegate. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial in Marion Memorial Park Cemetery.
