Michael E. Baxter, 68, of Fort Wayne passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. He was welcomed into life by his parents, Clarence and Mary Baxter. Mike was a passionate man of strong convictions, and you knew where you stood. He spent the majority of his career on the open road as a truck driver and loved all things outdoors, especially the farm and his horses, his old truck, woodworking, and oil painting. Mike is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Kuehner and Mary Lahmeyer; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and beloved canine companion “Jo Jo”. Also surviving are his sister, Sandra of Wolcottville; and brother, Robert of Texas. In keeping with Mike’s private nature, funeral services will only be for immediate family.
