Michael S. Doenges, Sr., 38, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, December 23, 2011 at Parkview Hospital. He was born to January 3, 1973 in Fort Wayne to Dean Kitzmiller and Kate Groeschel. Surviving are his wife, Candice (Archbold) Doenges of Fort Wayne; children,Michael Doenges, Jr., Jonathan Doenges, Christopher Doenges, Taylor Doenges, Hunter Doenges, Noah Doenges, Francis Doenges, and Theodore Doenges; and brother, Brian Doenges. He was preceded in death by his mother and daughter, Michelle Bucey. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Ft. Wayne with calling hours beginning at 1:00 pm. Pastor Mike Harris will be officiating. Memorials may be made to the family.
