Miriam Vee Rolland

Miriam “Mimi” Vee Rolland, 90, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on August 19, 2023. She was born on July 13, 1933, in Kendallville, IN, to Gaython Simon and Helen G. Flickinger. She was married on July 3, 1955 in Kendallville, IN to the late, Ian Rolland. Mimi is survived by her children, Cheri Rolland of Columbus, IN, Larry (Irene) Rolland, Kokomo, IN, Bob Rolland, Columbus, OH, Carol Rolland, Fort Wayne, Sara Moore, of Fishers, IN; a sister, Gay (John) Blech; a brother, Gene (Maureen) Flickinger; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband as well as her siblings, Art (Pat) Flickinger and Jerry Flickinger. Mimi enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed tennis, art, piano, music, nature, playing games and philanthropy among many other things. A Memorial Gathering will be on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Junior Achievement, 550 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825, from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Junior Achievement at 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to Fort Wayne Museum of Art.
