Nancy J. Edgell

Nancy J. Edgell, 73, passed away on September 12, 2021 after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on April 4, 1948 the daughter of the late Earl and Etta Edgell. Nancy enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and spending time on the lake. Making memories and spending time with her family was of the most importance to her. She is survived by her companion of 38 years, Kim Harrison; children, Tony (Dawne) Edgell, Jeannette Edgell Al-Shimmary, Ronda Edgell and Mikah Edgell; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sisters, Ethel Mae Stephenson, Kathryn Lynn Schulze, Earlene Lucille Mahar. She also leaves behind several family members to cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Carol Edgell and Donna Miller. A celebration of life will be held from 1 pm to 5 pm on November 27, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
