Nancy M. Lechleitner, 70, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016, in Fort Wayne. Nancy was a Hoagland High School graduate, former PHD employee, retired USPS mail carrier and farmer. An avid Chicago Cubs fan and puzzle enthusiast, Nancy often frequented Wrigley Field with her family. Although she only had one son, she was considered a mom to many. She will be remembered as a fierce Euchre player, wonderful wife, loving mother, and selfless friend.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Lechleitner; son Marc (Christine) Lechleitner, three grandchildren Erika, Natalie, and Jerome Lechleitner, and mother Dolly Packer. Also surviving are her brother-in-law James Lechleitner, sister-in-law Donna Straub, and dear friends Dennis and Tracey Shuler.
She was preceded in death by her father Jerry Packer.
Funeral Services will be 11 am Tuesday July 26, 2016 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home 6524 Winchester Rd. with visitation one hour prior with a Rosary Service to be held at 10:30. Visitation will also be 2-4 and 6-8 Monday July 25, 2016.
