Nathan Eric Dinken

Nathan Eric Dinken, 43, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Fort Wayne, IN, on Friday, July 8, 2022. Nathan grew up in Fort Wayne, IN, and graduated from Bishop Luers High School in 1997. He attended Indiana University and Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.

Nathan was a talkative, intelligent, inquisitive man who loved reading, movies, and music, especially “The Grateful Dead” and was an avid collector of their music and memorabilia. Nathan was a passionate person who was always open to debating “hot topics” and quite animated in his speech. He worked most of his life in the insurance industry as a Customer Service Representative.

Nathan was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Weichselfelder. He is survived by his father, Stuart Dinken, step-mother, Emma Lou Dinken, step-father, George Weichselfelder, and his siblings; Amy Nicholas, Benjamin Dinken, Gabriel Weichselfelder, and Lacey Weichselfelder. Nephews are Stuart Nicholas, Edward Nicholas, and Georgio Weichselfelder, and one niece, Sarah Collazo.

A Celebration of Life will occur on Sunday, July 17, 2022 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Mad Anthony Brewing Company, 2002 Broadway, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46802. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.greenlawnmpfh.com for the Dinken family.
