Norene F. Devlin Roth

NORENE F. ROTH, of Fort Wayne, died on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. Born April 20, 1926, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late William Devlin and Irene Murphy. She was a bus driver for S.W.A.C.S. for 23 years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of Peace United Church of Christ and Our Home Rebecca 817. Surviving are her husband, John Roth of Fort Wayne; daughter, Lisa (David) Horan of Fishers, Ind.; son, John Roth of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Jennifer Long and Heather Rose, both of Fort Wayne, Ashlie O'Dell of BLoomington, Ind., and Rachel, Joshua and Aaron Horan, all of Fishers; and great-grandchildren, Brady and Zackary Long. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryle L. Rose. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Peace United Church of Christ, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Kristen Pettit-Miller officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W.
