NORMA J. GOODPASTER, 80, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, April 1, 2013, at Covington Manor Nursing Home. Born Dec. 31, 1932, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Homer B. Watkins and Jesse M. (Allen) Watkins. She worked in electronics at Magnavox, retiring in 1993. She was a member of American Legion Post 82 Auxiliary, Army Navy Garrison 57 Auxiliary and AMVETS Post 55 Auxiliary. Surviving are her daughters, Mindi (Scott Conley) Wysong, Beverly (Glenn) Wysong, Vicki (Ken) Frier, and Karen (Ed Fisher) Zolman, all of Fort Wayne; son, James (Tessa) Goodpaster of Fort Wayne; sister, Bernice Fisher of Fort Wayne; 25 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with calling from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
