Norma Jean Mohrman

Norma Jean Mohrman, 90, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018. Born in Quincy, Illinois, Jean was the daughter of the late Grover and Emma Pfirman. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, and was active in many of their womens clubs. Jean was a volunteer at East Wayne Center for many years. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing bridge, being at the lakes, where she enjoyed water skiing until the age of 65. She loved her family and cherished her grandchildren. Surviving are her sons, Michael (Jenny) Mohrman, M.D. of Churubusco, John (Julia) Mohrman, M.D. of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Ryan (Sarah) Mohrman, Joel Mohrman, Ben (Gianna) Mohrman, Ashley (Jason) Kennedy, Brittany (Michael Hurley) Mohrman, Allison Mohrman, Madeline Mohrman, Mitchell Mohrman; step-grandchildren, Brad Geist, Mallory (John) Bates; great-grandchildren, Max, Jack, Pete, Marah, Emilia, Adam, Sam, and Mason. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Donald Mohrman; daughter, Janet Mohrman; and sister, Florence Piggott. Private Family Services. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana. D.O.
