Patricia Lousie Abbott, 75, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at her home. She was born July 1, 1945 in Fort Wayne, daughter of the late Paul and Grace (Doehla) Abbott. She was a graduate of South Side High School and worked for GTE for 40 years, retiring in 2003. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran church and enjoyed volunteering and helping community organizations. She is survived by her sister, Paula Polston of Fort Wayne; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Carol Christlieb; and brother, Mike Abbott. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819 followed by a private service. Burial will at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials in memory of Patricia may be made to Cancer Services of NE Indiana or the American Cancer Society.
