Patricia "Pat" Lee Henry, age 96, of Grabill, Indiana peacefully went to heaven on Monday, September 22, 2025. She was born September 14, 1929 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Gail A. and Nellie (née Grim) Rowley and graduated from South Side High School, Class of '47. Pat married the love of her life, Thomas E. Henry on December 27 of the same year. She would spend nearly three decades with G.T.E., retiring as Manager of Special Services in 1987.
Pat was a devoted woman of faith and member of Cedar Creek Church of Christ since 1980. In addition to her daily devotions and Bible Study, she enjoyed playing games and staying active through walking and daily exercise but cherished her time spent with family the most. Her love for Tom never faded, even after his passing in 2004. Known and loved by many as "Grandma Pat", including the family dogs, Pat never knew a stranger and deeply loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; she was especially fond of babies.
Pat is survived by her daughters, Diana (Jerry) Ream and Lois "Jo" (Rick) Voirol of Grabill; grandchildren, Pastor Thomas J. (Melissa) Ream of Fort Wayne, Amy J. (Paul) Brennan of Henderson, Nevada, Laureen Voirol of Moscow, Texas, and Robert T. (Shari Zink) Voirol of Auburn, Indiana; 11 great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn Roth and Karen Strauss of Fort Wayne; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 57 years, Tom; infant daughter; sister, Shirley Gran; brother, Larry Rowley; and grandson, Ken Voirol.
Funeral Service is 1:30 PM Monday, September 29, 2025 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Interment at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Friends and family will also be received 2:00 - 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be directed to Cedar Creek Church, the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne, or Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
