Patricia G. “Pat” Kaylor, 70, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away from this life on January 8, 2026, after a brief stay at Stillwater Hospice.
“Pat”, as she was known to many, was born April 3, 1955, to the late Hilda A. Fox (née Reed) and Monroe Shephard.
Pat was a graduate of New Haven High School Class of 1973. She worked at Continental Diamond Tool for many years before retiring after 25 years of service.
She loved decorating cakes and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her daughter, Christina Shramek; grandchildren, Amelia and Caiden Shramek and their father, Brandon Shramek; a sister, Linda Paulsen and brothers-in-law, Kent Smith, David (Trudy) Kaylor; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 35 years of marriage, Richard in 2018; and stepfather, Raymond Fox; sister, Brenda Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald (Kathy) Shephard; brother-in-law, David Paulsen; and nephew, Bruce Smith.
Funeral Services are 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes – Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road (46804) with visitation one hour prior to services. Visitation is also 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the funeral home.
Burial in Glenwood Cemetery – Roanoke, IN.
