Patsy Yvonne Denny

Patsy Yvonne Denny, age 75, passed away on March 1, 2026. Born August 9, 1950, in Logansport, Indiana, Patsy was kind-hearted, selfless, and thoughtful throughout a life defined by steady devotion to family, work, and the people around her. Patsy resided in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Patsy was born in Logansport, IN but lived in Royal Center, IN to Simon Jr and Maxine Denny. She graduated from Logansport Community High School in 1968. After graduation, she advanced her education at Indiana State University and Indiana Wesleyan University, graduating with a BS degree in 1990.

Patsy began her career working for General Tire in Logansport, IN, then moved to GTE, starting as an operator before moving to management. She retired after many years of service, remembered for her reliability and dedication.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; her life partner, Cynthia Grothouse; her brother, Kenneth Denny; and sister-in-law, Debra Denny. She will be remembered by her brothers, Mike (Susanne) Denny of Summerville, SC, Keith (Debra) Denny of Plainfield, IN, Simon (Ann) Denny III of Kokomo, IN, Timothy Denny of Logansport, IN; and cousin Jackie Zeider, along with many nieces and nephews.

Patsy loved to play cards, fishing, and hanging out with her nieces and nephews. She loved her Schnauzer dogs and enjoyed collecting antiques, going to estate sales, and garage sales. Patsy was the family historian, remembering the stories that connected generations, and she was also known for a wonderful sense of humor. She also loved watching movies and television.

In quiet, meaningful ways, Patsy’s care extended beyond her family. She was known for helping her elderly neighbors, providing food and support for their needs—simple acts of kindness that reflected the steady generosity of her character.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 9, 2026, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne (46815), with visitation two hour prior.
