

Paul R. HARTMAN SR., of Fort Wayne, died on Saturday, March 1, 2014, 5:58pm, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born September 10 1924, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Frank and Catherine Hartman. He worked for Bergman Plumbing for over 40 years and was a custodian at Precious Blood Catholic Church and school. He served proudly in the Army during WWII, was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Surviving are his children, Frank (Karen) Hartman of Fort Wayne, Paul (Marta) Hartman Jr. of Wolcottville, John (Doris) Hartman of Fort Wayne, Mark (Susan) Hartman and Andy (Janet) Hartman, both of Columbia City; sister Hillis Colby; 13 grandchildren, Mindy, Shelly, Stacey, Beth, Molly, Lindsay, Jody, Brian, Mackenzie, Matthew, Logan, Austin, and Kyle; and nine great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife Mary Hartman; sisters Eleanor, Dolores, Amy,Joanna and his brother Bob. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Fr. Joseph Gaughan officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N.
