Paul A. Parker, 74, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Paul worked at Volkswagen of America for five years until he left to start his own business, Paul's Service Center. He retired from Paul's Service Center in 1988 and then from Tom Kelly in 2007. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Paul loved watching his grandchildren play ball. Cheryl and Paul enjoyed the beach, traveling to Siesta Keys, Florida for several years. Paul also like being outside working in the yard and chatting with neighbors. He was friendly and did not know a stranger. He will be missed greatly. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Cheryl Parker of Fort Wayne; sons, Paul "Bo" (Angela) Parker, Jr. and Traves (Jennifer) Parker both of Fort Wayne, IN; sister, Rosalie Wendel of Fort Wayne; brother, Lonnie (Pam) Lemons of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren, Kayla Jones, Justin Parker, Jake Parker, Grant Parker, Brady Parker, and Lexy Parker; one great-grandson, Parker Jones; and several nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by daughter, Brenda Parker; mother, Marjorie Lemons; sister, Mary Jane Trendle; and brothers, Carl Parker, and Edward Parker. Service is 11:00 am, Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 917 W Jefferson Blvd with Pastor Gene Brunow officiating with calling one hour prior to the service. Calling at D.O.
