Peter E. Fisher Sr., 80, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born in Durham, North Carolina on November 24, 1943 to the late Carl and Eva (Birow) Fisher. He was a proud veteran who honorably served in the United States Air Force, completing boot camp in Biloxi and later deploying to Spain. His military service laid the foundation for a successful career in purchasing, with notable contributions to companies such as Magnavox, Bendix, Harley-Davidson, and Arctic Cat. In the early 1980s, Peter became the owner of Fisher Imports Parts and Service. He enjoyed reading, sports, and outdoor activities, particularly hiking in his later years. His legacy of dedication to his family and friends and service to his country will be cherished by all who knew him. Peter is survived by his children, Peter (Beth) Fisher Jr., Elizabeth (Scott) Brady, Jennifer Fisher, and Breanne (Tim) Atkinson, 12 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
