

PHYLLIS A. TRACEY, 80, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Heritage Park Nursing Home, Fort Wayne. Phyllis was born in Fort Wayne. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Phyllis was passionate about her family and loved the simple things in life. Phyllis was a member of First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, and the New Haven United Methodist Women. Surviving are her sons, Kim Allen (Teresa) Tracey and Timothy P. (Violet) Tracey, both of New Haven; daughter, Lori Anne (Kirk) Cerny of Ashburn, Va.; 10 grandchildren, Robert, Morgan, Courtney, Parker and Chad Tracey, Austin (Jenny) Tracey, Allyson (Chad) Fortman, Jaclyn (Ian) Wuest, Ryan and Shawn Cerny; sisters, Marie Heath of Longmont, Colo. and Martha J. (Ron) Blaine of Sulfur Springs, Colo. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Thomas W. Tracey; son, Michael T. Tracey; parents, Orville A. and Helen Heath; sister, Rosalie Redding; and brother, Richard Heath. Service is 10 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2017, at First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, 300 E. Wayne St., with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Greg Enstrom officiating. Calling also from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2017, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to First Wayne Street United Methodist Church.
