Ralph Tolliver

RALPH TOLLIVER, 94, of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018. He was born July 25, 1924, in Benham, Kentucky, a son of the late Henry and Nancy (Irvin) Tolliver. Ralph proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946 in the South Pacific. He worked for the Dana Corporation from 1946 until his retirement in 1990. He was an avid golfer and played in the Dana Corporation golf leagues for many years. He enjoyed gardening and valued time spent with family and friends. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Betty Peck Tolliver of Tucson, Arizona, daughter, Janet "Jan" Tolliver (Gary) Moss of Tucson, Arizona; and a host of nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Howard, Herbert, Charles, Haywood, and Willard Tolliver; and sisters, Dorothy Strycker, Mabel Tolliver and Ethel Sumser. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, (IN 46819), with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
