Richard Allen Adams III

Richard Allen Adams III, 50, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at his home. Born on October 15, 1970 in Columbus, OH, he attended Carroll High School in Fort Wayne and furthered his education in Columbus, OH, where he graduated as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA). Richard married the love of his life, Misty Adams, on February 2, 1989. A family man, he adored his wife and daughters. As a family, they enjoyed camping, baseball games, fossil hunting, fishing, racing and muscle cars. He looked forward to becoming a grandpa this upcoming August. A man’s man, he was always the provider for his family, sometimes working more than one job to make sure they had everything they needed. Richard was the biggest fan of Ohio State football! He is survived by his wife, Misty Adams of Fort Wayne; daughters, Britaney Adams and Tiffany Adams, both of Columbus, OH; mother, Victoria (Bill Richardson) (Tipsord) Adams of Fort Wayne; grandson on the way, Richard Mathias Da Kei Adams; brother, David (Andrea Roderick) of Newark, OH; sisters, Angela (Charles Knight) Certain of Columbus, OH, and Sheila Adams of Newark, OH; and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, great nieces, great nephews; and a host of friends. He was also preceded in death by his father, Richard Allen Adams II; great nephews, Brenden Adams and Kristopher Adams; seven grandchildren; and dogs, Sonny, Gina, and Maggie Woos Woos. Funeral Service is Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Advantage Highland Park, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior.
