Richard worked at Pirelli Armstong Tire for 30 years and retired in 1996. He was an avid woodworker and very skilled with the scroll saw, making ornate crosses for his family and friends.
Richard is survived by his wife, Juiwanna Giesbrecht of Fort Wayne, IN; sons, Richard G. (Rosa) Giesbrecht Jr. of Fresno CA; John Dave (Angelica) Giesbrecht of Idaho; step daughter Carla Ferrell of Fort Wayne, IN; grandsons, JR. Giesbrecht, James Giesbrecht, Grant Embury and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his former wife Patricia Giesbrecht, brothers, Mike and Robert Giesbrecht and sister Donna LLoyd.
Private services will be held at a later date.
