Richard "Rick" Lee Hardin Sr., 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019. He was born on October 9, 1944, in Gary, IN. Rick proudly served in the 101st Airborne in the U.S. Army. He retired from Dana. Rick enjoyed spending time with his family, his dogs, and riding motorcycles.
Rick is survived by his wife, Angie; children, Teri, Kim, Tom, Bill, Laura, Caitie, and Anna; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Blythe; and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Rick Jr.; and siblings, Harvey and Helen.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home (1327 N. Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808) at 1:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Marion National Cemetery at a later date.
