It is with a heavy heart that I have to camcel the celebration luncheon. This is due to many having Covid concerns. I get the concern, and I could not forgive myself if someone got sick after attending. I hope mext summer all will be better. We will have the luncheon when this has passed.

Dick and I sat in meetings together for about three years , three times a week... I will miss his insights into life and sobriety. I Loved the long conversations before and after those meetings and I learned a great deal from Dick... Prayers for his family. He will be sorely missed.

Jeanine, thank you for your post! I have a few memories of Great Grandma Rose. I do not remember Great Grandpa Edward. I remember going to their house on Harrison St and visiting Aunt Helen Keim.

I am one of the younger grandchildren of Rose and Ed Lauer. My mother was Lucile Lauer Bergman. We were so blessed to be a member of the Lauer group gathering on the front porch on Harrison Street. Dick, Tom and Barb with my brother Bill and all of the rest of the family. Enjoyed Dick's deep laugh. Would tease us younger ones, go fishing with grandpa. He was so charming with compliments joining us in German songs at family weddings. Lots of wonderful childhood memories. May you all carry on the Lauer family memories while creating new ones of your own.

My best time I had with my dad is when he was my best man in my wadding. Not only was he my best man, best friend. But he was a great man that loved his family and kids. He just love to make people smile.

I love to go camping with my dad, He was so much fun and made the best eggs over the camp fire. I will miss taking him fish and veggies from my garden or having him over for a fish fry. But most of all, setting around and just talking. I was so lucky to have a great dad!!!
