Richard Glenn Romine, 62, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2021 in Desert Hot Springs, California. Born on September 6, 1959, in Fort Wayne; Richard was a son to the late Richard L. Romine and Martha Driver. Richard was a student of Homestead high school. Richard worked as a wrecker driver for Pro Tow and Kelley Wrecker Services. He was known by his family as a free spirit that loved living off the land. Richard is survived by his sons, Richard W. Romine of Fort Wayne, and Glenn N. Romine of Desert Hot Springs, California; sisters, Sally (Barry) Palmeter, and Dorothy (Heather Smitley) Romine; brothers, Albert Snavely, and Jerry Snavely; many nieces and nephews, and "his girls", dogs, Pepper and Carmel. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Romine. Visitation for Richard will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, followed by a celebration of life memorial service at 1:30 PM.
