Robert David Bradfield

Robert David Bradfield, 71, of Yoder, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Coventry Meadows. He was born February 6, 1942 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late R. G. and Rose Bradfield. He was a graduate of South Side High School, a Navy Veteran, and was a retired Teamster and also worked as a heavy equipment operator with the IUOE local #103. He was a member of VFW #1421 and the Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his wife Jeanine M. Bradfield of Yoder; children, Leeanna (Scott Davis) Bradfield of Waterloo, Lon (Lanell) Bradfield of Pennrose, Colorado, and Andrew (Deborah) Bradfield of Lady Lake Florida; sister, Elizabeth (Roger) Kucher of Schaumburg, Illinois; five grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death was his brother, John “Bill” Bradfield. Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Visitation will be Monday, November 11, 2013 from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery. Preferred memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse and Hospice.
